Artist Bio
Isolated by the pandemic three years ago, I began to explore photography. It had been 46 years since I created a body of art. My macro photographs are abstractions in fluidity rich with color, pattern, and emotion. The dance of light that for most of my life I sought in the ocean, I’m now looking for in the interplay between glass and fabrics.
I have a Master's in Social Work and worked for over 25 years. Learning about modern artists and their work has been a lifelong passion, fueled by extensive travel. For 18 years, I was an art museum docent in Pensacola, Florida, and Montgomery, Alabama.
It’s been exciting to experience self-reinvention as an artist. I’ve been honored with two first-place awards. Through the University of Delaware, I’ve enjoyed a one-woman show. Additionally, I’ve been in a variety of shows nationally.
