Laura Teste is an American artist who is best known for her figurative bronzes that embody grace and motion.
Laura Teste was raised in a small town in Ohio. She paired her early aptitude for art & mechanics to earn degrees in both design and engineering from Stanford University in California.
California became a recurring source of inspiration. The time she spent with the Stanford Rowing Team gave her an unshakable appreciation for female athleticism. Years later, galleries along California's Highway 1 moved her to embrace sculpting full-time.
Laura Teste's figures are regularly featured in juried expositions. The Gerald Ford Museum hosted a life-size “Elyse” during the 2021 ArtPrize. She was one of nine sculptors selected for France’s 17th Salon Peintres et Sculpteurs de St. Tropez presenting six of her bronzes Her sponsored solo shows have been hosted by multiple venues including the Arthur Secunda Museum of Michigan.
