Artist Bio
I was born in 1969 to a college art history professor and his wife. I grew up in Kennebunkport, ME. I have lived in NYC, Amsterdam, and outside of LA. I live in a science fiction post-pandemic junk drawer. Ik ben een vuilnisman. I weld and join materials together to create humorous deconstructions out of everyday objects. My pieces are essays about otherness, not otherness done in a Dadaist style. I am concentrated on the space between language and action. I take a gestural approach to conceptual art making. I have done over 115 group shows in my career.
