Artist Bio
Pechez was born in San Diego, but raised in the Pacific Northwest in Oregon and Idaho. They awarded her an art scholarship to BSU where she discovered oil paint. One of her oil paintings, Buffalo Bull Bison, is on permanent display at the Three Island State Park Interpretive Center in Idaho. She moved to Southern California, where her art has been published in the Inland Empire Magazine, Arts of Poetry Magazine, and several other Arts Publications. She has had the honor of placing first at the Ontario Museum of History &Art with her piece Tatianna and her Chicks. Her Artwork has been on display at the SASSE Museum in Pomona, Ca. and the Chaffey Museum in Ontario, CA.
They displayed three of her wildlife pieces in the Palm Springs International Exhibition, Into the Wild. during covid she entered California Art League juried exhibition Sublime, placing with her art piece Rodeo Clown. This year her art piece The Spa was juried in Ontario Invitational and Chaffey Museum has offered a Solo exhibition in December. Pechez has started a YouTube channel showing how to paint a few animals using a fan brush. You can find her channel at Art By Pechez.
