Artist Bio
Lia Ali is an artist born in Bulgaria and based in New York. She studied murals majoring in the National Academy of Arts and Painting at the New York Academy of Art. Her art is in multiple collections in Europe and in the States. She works with murals, watercolors, and oil equine paintings.
Lia has awards from the American Art award and the National Watercolor society.
Her work was displayed in Flowers Gallery, Dacia Gallery, Wilkinson Hall, Salmagundi Club, Gallery 104, Plaxall Gallery, murals in Cedars Sinai Medical center, Sokka Gokkai, and Paramount theatre. She painted the largest mural in Long Island at restaurant Sangria 71. One of her latest murals in Vida Garden in Englewood, NJ, and Coletta Nyc was published in American art collector magazine and Vegetarian times! Hew recent murals can be viewed in multiple restaurants on Long Island.
Her murals and artwork are owned by multiple private collections in Europe and the United States. She is currently working and residing in New York.
