Dr. Amara Pope, an accomplished artist and academic, brings over a decade of expertise in marketing, brand management, and digital media across various industries. She holds a Ph.D. in Media Studies from Western University, where her research delved into the complex intersections of media, culture, and race, with a particular focus on popular music and digital media. Her academic journey also includes a Master's in Communication Studies from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Joint Honours Bachelor's Degree in Rhetoric and Professional Writing and Fine Arts with a Digital Media Specialization from the University of Waterloo.

Dr. Pope is a fervent advocate for amplifying underrepresented voices and promoting diversity, a mission she passionately discussed in her TEDx Talk. She has delivered thought-provoking lectures at prestigious institutions such as the University of Southern California and has been a sought-after speaker at conferences and as a guest panelist across Canada.
