Artist Bio
I was born in El Dorado, Arkansas, and earned a BFA in Graphic Design from Louisiana Tech University. Most of my career was spent working in sales for the photography, pre-press, and printing industries, where I specialized in fine art reproductions. I am now working as a full-time artist myself.
Although I'm attracted to all kinds of colorful subjects, a lot of my work is inspired by music. Blues is one of my favorite types of music and I am proud to have been named the official artist for the world-renowned King Biscuit Blues Festival for the years 2021 – 2023 and also produced poster art for two years for the Delta Roots Music Festival. My work was featured in 2022-23 in the Hot Springs Area Cultural Alliance's Arts & The Park outdoor exhibit, in 2024 as part of the Fort Smith Regional Art Museum’s “Inclusive” exhibit, and I have two paintings in the permanent collection of the Delta Cultural Center Museum. I also have art currently featured in Gallarium’s Food Story 2024 & Portraits 2024 international online group exhibits.
