Artist Bio
"A lot of beautiful things exist in the world separately, and this is the task of our spirit: to discover connections and thereby create works of art." I. Goethe Elmira was born in Kazakhstan in 1975.
After getting a master's degree in Economics, she did business and graduated with an MBA in corporate governance in 2009.
Exact sciences could not answer her questions about life, about the connection with the world, or about the meaning of all of this, which led her to study philosophy, religion, and psychology. Elmira has been applying this knowledge for more than 20 years. And it was only when she found the connection between quantum physics and Tibetan Bon, Buddhism, Dzogchen, and art she managed to complete her picture of the world, which became full.
In 2015, on a pilgrimage tour of the Kingdom of Bhutan, she first had a desire to paint in oils. Images came to her in meditations and transformed her works, helping her to become more aware of what the life around her was.
Traveling a lot with her family, and moving around Europe, Elmira tried to absorb the history of each country, and the philosophy of each nation, to connect with art. For 8 years of her career in painting, she has created works, many of which are now in private collections in the UK, Spain, France, UAE, Latvia, Russia, and Kazakhstan.
