Artist Bio
James is a self-taught artist whose style is raw and unique, and sometimes perplexing in that it doesn't necessarily fit into many if any categories, Well before the days of outsider Art... Yet given his Midwestern blue-collar back he persisted and eventually found a niche for his commercial work (to eat) and his fine Art (to breathe) Entering shows all over the United States from Los Angeles, Seattle, Denver, Chicago, Miami, New York winning awards and creating murals, he is proud to say he is a signature member American Watercolor Society NYC and has a painting in the permanent collection of The Racine Art Museum over 45 years of showing at Watercolor Wisconsin.
