Born on the Black sea coast in Sochi, a town of 101 nationalities, I feel on my salty skin how beautiful life is in all its diversity of perfect imperfections. My talent is to hear the beat in the sound of waves, to see a structure where others see noise, to catch the beauty of the elusive and unique moment, which will never come again, among the chaos of daily routine. I invite you to the space of my art where I celebrate the life that just goes on among our illusions.
My art is an ode to all those corners of our planet that are much more charming than any of the chic facades of our human ego. I am an artist and I saw modern life in all its colors, from a lab to an office, from the sparkles of the nightlife of a megapolis to the humbling simplicity of a hike in nature and to a peacefully rocking cradle. I traveled the world from Asia and the Middle East to North America, from Baltic countries to South Africa, and I met charming people and rituals, building connections and relationships which formed who I am like patterns on my patchwork quilts.
I take the past and traditions with dignity and gratitude while looking into the future bringing up two kids. My life led me to Saint Petersburg, Russia, where the tragic and majestic history is in the air and the culture as our heritage is all around us. I truly believe that the future will only be bright if humanity transcends ego boundaries and we unite together through culture and creativity to cherish the world and people. My mission is to manifest the diversity of this world in my paintings.
