Skye Seymour
Artist Bio
Skye Seymour is a student at Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts, where her practice has been shaped by rigorous studio training and sustained engagement with New York City’s museums and cultural institutions. She has studied advanced painting, fashion, architecture, interior design, ceramics, printmaking, and art history.
Seymour has exhibited work in juried exhibitions throughout New York, including shows at Little Egg Gallery, the Loft Artists Association, and the Greenwich Art Society, as well as appearing in Toronto's Vibrante Festival. She has participated in her school's fall and spring semi-annual art showcases for the past four years and is currently curating her Senior Art Show.
In 2024 and 2025, Seymour deepened her artistic practice by investigating the business of art through Sotheby’s Institute of the Arts’ Art Business and Art, Luxury, and Fashion programs, where she was selected both years as Class Ambassador and keynote speaker. There, she developed skills in branding, design, and the art business, created a gallery-based exhibition proposal, and designed a sustainability-focused capsule fashion line inspired by nautical themes.
