Artist Bio
I worked as a newspaper reporter and technical editor for most of my professional career. As a child, I drew cartoons and created comic books featuring friends and family members. Since then, I’ve worked in many different art forms (mostly mixed media), often with historical or nature subjects, often with tongue in cheek, and often incorporating the written word or otherwise commenting on language and meaning. I have been fortunate to have my pieces appear in exhibitions around the country.
