I have always loved to paint according to my mood, albeit the weather, seascapes, landscapes, and floral scenes. I hope to give my clients the feelings that I was experiencing when creating these images- optimism, eagerness, hopefulness, confidence, as well as peace and tranquility. I graduated with a degree in fashion design in 1980, then went overseas to Melbourne where I worked for companies that supplied women's wear to department stores. I then opened up my own boutique and supplied several other ones as well as some stores. I decided to return to the U.K. after a few years and went on to do property refurbishments. I then adopted a six-year-old boy, Liam, who unfortunately died when he was sixteen. It seems like a short time ago, not eleven years ago, and me and my family and I still think about him alot. I then went on to design cupboards and carpentry for people's places in South London and Surrey. I loved doing this until I suffered a stroke three years ago, and I am still making a slow but sure recovery from it. Through all of this, I have managed to do my art in my own time, and have taken part in exhibitions in galleries in Melbourne and London, and sold my work allover the world. It has been my medicine, and given me a world where I express what I feel.
