Artist Bio
At heart, Pamela Nigro is a risk-taker, adventurer, and explorer. Not only has she walked on the edge of jungles in the Philippine Islands and chanted in Franciscan Monasteries, but she's also appeared on Broadway stages in the asphalt jungle of New York City.
Her art reflects a narrative about her fascination with human behavior, cultural values, beliefs, and principles. Bold, colorful palettes and a daring, passionate authenticity as well as a distinctively unique perspective make her art captivating and widely sought after. Pamela believes artists are the record keepers and storytellers of mankind, with an opportunity to curate their work depending on the current social climate and direction.
She is committed to using her art to heal, stimulate discussion, open new avenues of thought, give the viewer a profoundly moving experience... and ultimately transport them out of their current reality.
Much of Pamela’s work is centered around spiritual ideas and concepts, symbolism, and cultural iconography and she often incorporates metaphor and prose.
