Artist Bio
My name is Evin Galarza. I am a student from SUNY New Paltz, and I am a Visual Arts major (and an English minor). I am from Newburgh, NY. I started SUNY New Paltz since Fall 2023 from transfer, and to this day, Spring 2026 is my final semester and as about to be an artist, I would have to share my works to be recognize among the public. The works that I have created are based on mixed media such as ceramic, metal, drawings, ink & dye, and most of all, photography. I may not be as a professional artist, however, I do want to share a meaning to the works that I have done, so it can show an admiration of the theme such as family, memory, message, and even resilience. In the end, I understand on what critics will I receive after sharing my work to the public, I do plan to redeem myself on one path when I graduate soon and that is to become a photographer.
