Artist Bio
My name is Evin Galarza. I am a student from SUNY New Paltz, and I am a Visual Arts major (and an English minor). I am from Newburgh, NY. I started at SUNY New Paltz in Fall 2023 as a transfer, and to this day, Spring 2026 is my final semester, and as about to be an aspiring artist, I would have to share my works to be recognized among the public. The works that I have created are based on mixed media such as ceramic, metal, drawings, ink & dye, and most of all, photography. I may not be a professional artist; however, I do want to share a meaning to the works that I have done, so it can show an admiration of the theme, such as family, memory, message, and even resilience. In the end, I understand what criticism I will receive after sharing my work with the public. I do plan to redeem myself on one path when I graduate soon, and that is to become a photographer.
