Artist Bio
Donna Horn is an Atlanta-based painter working in abstract imagery. She earned a BFA from Georgia State University, and an AB in fine art from Muhlenberg College. Donna participated for two years in the Fine Arts Atelier of NYC painter Michael David. During the past four years, she has continued study and mentorship with Lisa Pressman, also a New York area artist. Her work has been shown at Bill Lowe, Swan Coach, Spruill, and IDEA galleries. While an active member of the Women's Caucus for Art, Georgia chapter, she exhibited regularly in juried and annual member shows. She also served on their Executive Board. She is currently a member of the Georgia Chapter of the Museum of Women in the Arts. In 2013, Donna was honored with a two-week residency at the Hambidge Center for Creative Arts & Sciences in Rabin Gap, Ga. In 2022, she was awarded a weeklong residency at Wildacres Retreat Center in the Blue Ridge mountains of North Carolina.
