Artist Bio
Shobha Vanchiswar is an award-winning artist, poet, author, garden blogger, and prize-winning garden designer. Her art has been exhibited at various locations in Westchester County, NY, New York City, and other parts of the United States.
In 2021 and 2022, she participated in KMAA’s ‘Ricochet’ and ‘Artists Best’. Arts Westchester’s reopening show, New York’s Spring 2021 Affordable Art Fair, online shows ‘Flower’ at the International Art Gallery, ‘Femina’ at Gallerium.art
Currently, Shobha has two paintings in ‘Flowers, Trees And Roots’ at The View Center for the Arts, Old Forge, NY
Shobha was Teatown Reservation’s 2016 and 2017 Wildflower Artist and Poet.
Her book of photographs and poems ‘The Lucky Ones’ raised $10,000 for children with HIV/AIDS. President Bill Clinton signed 300 copies and had them sold at his presidential museum in Arkansas.
She is a member of the New York Art Students League, Katonah Museum Artist Association, and Arts Westchester. Her website - seedsofdesign.com
