Artist Bio
Kameh Saman was born in Tehran, Iran, in 1984. She pursued her education at Tehran University, where she earned a master's degree in Landscape Architecture before relocating to the United States in 2012. Currently based in Seattle, she maintains a studio and offers private teaching sessions. Her time is divided between fulfilling painting commissions, pursuing personal projects, and providing instruction.
Kameh sees art as a transformative personal journey, fostering growth artistically and personally. Through her work, she captures the essence of the human spirit, utilizing art as a form of craftsmanship to express herself and appreciate life's beauty and vulnerability, experiencing moments that remind her of her true self and something greater.
Kameh has had the privilege of receiving mentorship from internationally renowned realistic master Juliette Aristides, as well as other esteemed artists including Robert Armetta, Richard Greathouse, Patricia Watwood, Dominique Medici, Joshua Langstaff, and Grace Athena Flott.
