Artist Bio
My enthusiasm for design started at a very early age. Antiques filled my home, instilling in me a passion for Chinoiserie, which continues to inspire my work today. Chuck Jones, the animator, and Loet Vanderveen, known for his bronze sculptures, are also very large presences in how I approach my work. All of this led me to Architecture, into which I received my bachelor's degree. Where my love of drafting began and has not diminished. Every line is specific, every point has its place, enabling me to tell a story with precision supported by bold colors. By using Adobe Illustrator, I can draw what inspires me. Adobe Photoshop helps to soften the edges and enhance the color values. The perfect combination of tools where my world is focused and contained.
