Sofia Melissa Botter was born on December 17, 2006. She is currently attending the state artistic high school in Treviso, Italy: next year, from March to June, she should attend, as a guest student, the Capa School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It was in Pittsburgh where her grandmother lived, an acclaimed painter in the 50s and 60s, and where her father Guglielmo has been working as an artist since 2012. Sofia Melissa is an Italian and American citizen and, once she finishes high school, she would like to enroll at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice, where grandfather Memi taught restoration. A few weeks ago Sofia discovered a passion for pencil portraits, a simple but very effective technique. The most recent portrait she made last month was dedicated to her sister Rebecca, on her 21st birthday.
