Artist Bio
In 1970 Tom received a BA degree in Studio Arts from Loras College, Dubuque IA and in 1972 received a MA degree in Creative Photography from the University of Iowa, Iowa City, IA.
He worked as the Staff Artist for the Telegraph Herald Newspaper in Dubuque IA and as an Art Director for Associate Litho Printing Company in Minneapolis, MN. He’s also taught Adult Education classes in drawing.
Tom is active as a member of several arts organizations and galleries including The Hopkins Center for the Arts, The Minnetonka Art Center, The Minnesota Artist’s Association, and The White Bear Center for the Arts and Artistry Gallery in Bloomington, MN.
Tom has been living and creating his artwork in his home/studio in Minnetonka, MN for 45 years. His work has been exhibited locally, nationally, and internationally and he has won awards in many of these exhibits.
