Arda A Ergin

Arda Ergin, also known as Baba Yoqi, born and raised in Istanbul Turkey, tries to depict the world around him. Inspired by the cultural background of growing up in Istanbul, Ergin aims to mesh his cultural heritage and his representational painting background in his work. Arda is interested in human interaction, whether that be with another living being, an object, or one’s surroundings. Ergin uses his practice to convey his inner challenges and emotions in his life-sized oil paintings and ink drawings.
