Artist Bio
Pennsylvanian artist Meaghan Troup creates visual escapes with palette knives and oil paints. She received her BFA with honors from Roberts Wesleyan College, where she studied Renaissance art and architecture abroad at Oxford University.
Described as simultaneously vivid and peaceful, Meaghan’s art embodies colors reflecting life's vitality, textures conveying nature's physicality, and lines and spaces evoking freedom and hope. These qualities originate from her deep faith in God and a battle with leukemia as a teenager - an experience that taught her to see the beauty in life despite circumstances.
Meaghan is deeply interested in the connection between art and healing and works with several acclaimed medical centers to promote a curative environment. An award-winning artist, her paintings have been displayed internationally and are included in private and public collections within the US.
