Artist Bio
As a young artist, I began my journey by visiting and viewing many museums, taking beginner classes at the Brooklyn Museum as a child, and viewing and studying exhibits of work by great artists in history such as Mary Cassatt, Edgar Degas, Monet, Kerry James Marshall, Frida Kahlo, and Van Gogh, and many more. Witnessing these artists and what they produced at such a young age became a huge inspiration in my life in terms of my style today. I have been painting professionally for 8 years, and I attended a private art academy in Princeton, New Jersey, in 2018, studying portraits, landscape painting, as well as figure drawing. I am inspired every day to tell my own story through my creative process. Studying realism and the master artists throughout history at the academy, their techniques further boosted me and gave me the ability to bring my own ideas and creativity to life. From the complex, beautiful, and bold Russian style of painting, I further examined a wide variety of other artists throughout time, such as Rembrandt and Pontormo. They have all impacted my life in a beautiful way.
