Artist Bio
I am a self-taught artist with over 40 years of artistic expression, including dance, theater, and visual arts. Trained in science and microbiology, I see the world beyond our vision and use this experience as inspiration for many of my works. I have attended classes in abstraction, composition, and color to better understand the creative process and techniques that allow me to create my vision.
I have also attended the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, MA, a historic New England community settled by artists and Portuguese fishermen who have blended the town into a world-class art enclave and a unique experience for all who travel there. Provincetown sits at the tip of Cape Cod and is renowned for its natural light, inspiring artists for over a hundred years. My art is shown in galleries on the Atlantic coast from Massachusetts to Georgia. I live in Savannah, Georgia.
