Artist Bio

I’m a native New Yorker who has made a life in the Midwest. After college in St. Louis, I got married and built a family. After a 35-year career in Physical Therapy, I found myself needing something more creative to do with my time. I had the good fortune to meet a wonderful watercolor teacher who saw potential in me, and the rest, as they say, is history. That was over 15 years ago, and I’ve never been happier with my life. Art has allowed me to enter a new and exciting phase of my life, an unexpected new career. My focus is Botanical Art, especially in a representative style, the more details the better. I’ve had the opportunity to study with some of the finest botanical artists in the world, hone my skills, and as a result, I’ve had many opportunities to be juried into shows all over the country, win awards, and meet amazing people. My journey includes teaching in our local art organization,n and I have my art displayed in two St. Louis Galleries on a permanent basis. In addition, I’m a Signature Member of several Societies. I never would have imagined that my life would have changed so much, and the best is yet to come.
