Rashawn Campbell
Artist Bio
Rashawn Hart-Campbell, originally from Detroit, MI, has studied art since her teen years, completing studies in Commercial and Graphic Arts at Crockett Career Tech and Basic Drawing at Wayne State University, both before graduating high school! Rashawn still studies art, at Henry Ford Community College, where she is pursuing a new degree in Liberal Arts to complement her years of experience and dedication to the wonderful world of visual and literary art! After experiencing initial success with her first official gallery showing in 2015 at Sherwood Forest Art Gallery in Detroit, Rashawn's art has since been exhibited with the 2017 and 2018 Black ID Exhibits at the Carr Center in Detroit, with Raw Artists in Brooklyn, NY and Los Angeles, CA at the home of the famed, Detroit-born songwriter Allee Willis, for the “Willis Wonderland” Art Party in 2018. Rashawn also participated in the 2022 Manhattan, NY exhibit for The Fearless Artist and, here in Michigan, was the creative visual artist behind the official poster, stages, and other media for the 2023 Concert of Colors! Rashawn is currently an exhibiting artist in the international art contest, "ArtPrize" in Grand Rapids, MI!
