Simone Christen is a Swiss painter, born in 1971, living and working in rural New Jersey since 2020. She creates abstract and non-representational art, being experimental while still working in the realm of minimalism.
Primarily reflecting emotions and atmospheres, the artist follows an intuitive approach, striving for balance without losing tension and for reduction without becoming trivial. She is interested in the impact of deep color spaces, sensitive lines and marks, and the dynamic interaction of the various players – a constant interplay of autonomy and relation to other elements and space.
Simone Christen works mainly with liquid media on paper and raw canvas, aiming for depth and luminosity through layering semitransparent, defined organic shapes. Her artworks are quiet reflections on the beauty of life and its fundamental simplicity. They are intended to provide a grounding experience and radiate a sense of calm, peace, and serenity.

Following an intuitive approach, I strive for balance without losing tension, for reduction without becoming trivial, and am always fascinated by universal concepts of form, mass, proportion, rhythm, and structure. Influenced by modern art, everyday surroundings, and nature, my main inspiration is an inner urge to express my own visual language.
My artworks are quiet reflections on the beauty of life and its fundamental simplicity. They are intended to provide a grounding experience and radiate a sense of calm, peace, and serenity. An invitation to step away from the hustle and bustle of daily life for a brief moment of reflection and resonance, allowing the eyes to rest and the soul to linger.
Blossom Our Friendship
Benjamin Cunningham was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and is an artist, author, and photographer who currently studies fine arts and political science at George Washington University. Cunningham began to emphasize producing art as a part of his career in late 2018; however, the last year of work has been his most developmental, stylistically, and creatively. In September of 2022, Cunningham began an independent research study alongside the multinational company Nix Color Sensor concerning introducing sustainable paint alternatives in the art-classroom setting. This study would develop a laboratory process for utilizing enzymes to extract high yields of pigmentation from biomatter. In August of 2021, Cunningham published his first work, a poetry book titled Le Jardin: A Walk Through the Gilded Gardens, which conveys his experiences as a youthful and emerging artist in his hometown.
One may paint for years and never truly feel like a painter. I have had such an identity struggle, for my work does not represent the conventional standards set for a paradigm of realism. Instead, saturated color palettes, bold textual graphics, and inspiration from multitudes of historical media define my existence as a contemporary painter. My fascination with history has been of significant influence on my work, as I feel a need to reflect on the past in order to make comments on the future. Producing large-scale painterly collages of mid-twentieth-century-American media has allowed my work to propose contemporary narratives through the artistic interpretation of historical American culture.

“Cassandra Bloedel has been an accomplished artist in juried art shows since 1995. She is self-taught and has gained recognition in some of these juried art shows by receiving placement ribbons in watercolor, acrylics, drawing, and photography. Her recognition in artwork includes publication in a Canadian magazine for her photography. She is a Navajo woman with German ancestry, a cancer survivor, who designs jewelry and greeting cards along with her many paintings.

“I am a Navajo woman with German ancestry who grew up in Window Rock, Arizona, and throughout my many years of an environmental career, I am a cancer survivor from chemotherapy in 2020 and again in 2021.
I began to work on the arts for painting and crafts in 1995. I create artwork using watercolors, acrylics, and graphic art. My craft is custom jewelry. I continue to write poems, short stories, and one book, with another being developed. I enjoy photography while traveling, and it is great to find moments in time captured by my camera. Juried art shows were in New Mexico, Arizona, Montana, California, Washington, DC, and New York. I enjoy providing my art for others, including art demonstrations if an opportunity arises, and juried art shows”.
Blue Dawn
I was born and raised in NYC, but mostly in the Bronx. I attended CCNY, where I graduated with a BS in Mathematics and an MA in Mathematics Education. I taught high school mathematics in the Bronx. I have always been interested in the arts and started writing poems and playing guitar at age 19. I studied poetry under Professor Robert O’Clair. I studied guitar at The Guitar Workshop. I studied painting and drawing at SUNY Purchase. I have had paintings in 8 live group shows at Jones Gallery in Kansas City, Missouri, paintings at 4 live group shows in Arbor Gallery, Carmel, NY, paintings and photos in 6 live group shows at Putnam Arts Council in Mahopac, NY. and 1 painting in a live group show at the Mahopac Public Library. Also, I have exhibited in many online shows. I have exhibited at HMVCGalleryNewYork virtually since its inception for over 2 years. A wonderful state-of-the-art gallery with outstanding artists! My poems have been published.in magazines, books, and at HVMOCA. I performed some of my poems in April 2024 at HVMOCA with numerous other artists at Writing The Walls 2024 and will perform a poem in WTW 2025. I self-published a children’s book, ”Mr. Fine Goes to the Eye Doctor”. My principal artistic interest has been abstract painting and drawing for the last 12 years, but I have written many poems as well. I live in Putnam County, NY.
My work in fine arts has principally been in 2 classes of abstract paintings: oils and water-based paints. However, I have completed numerous works in drawing. I focus on color, texture, methodology of delivery, and composition. In composition, I am interested in positive space and negative space as well. I believe the painting/drawing is a manifestation of my emotional state of both conscious and unconscious feelings.

Subodh Maheshwari was born in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, North India where she learned folk art and classical music. She passionately believes: “In the threshold of my life, my present is the window to the past and a key to the future”. She acquired her degrees and studied art at Agra University, California State University of Fullerton, and the University of California Irvine. Subodh has won numerous awards, including the Regional Fellowship Award at UCI in 1986, the Bharat Gaurav Award in India in 2015, and the 60 Masters Award in 2017, 2018, and 2019. She is also registered in Marquis’s “Who’s Who in America”, the standard in biographical information. Her paintings have also won awards in a variety of categories including landscape, open, all women, nature, elements, seasons, and abstract.
Subodh is a diversified artist who enjoys telling stories through her artwork, whether it is through landscape, flowers, or abstract art. Her art is a fusion of Eastern symbolism and Western composition, influenced by 16th and 17th century Rajasthani and Mogul art, and accented by poetry, passages, and phrases in Hindi, Sanskrit, and English. She admires Georgia O’Keeffe for her floral influence, and Frida Kahlo for her courage. Whether it is the serene beauty of nature, her spirituality, or the current political climate, she finds inspiration. Having a life shared between India and America, she sees the beautiful similarities, like love which transcends all borders. Highly individual in her style, her works are described as emotional, mysterious, personal, spiritual, and humorous.

Andrea Snyder, BFA, cum laude, Tyler School of Art, MFA program NYU, with additional studies at Wharton, University of the Arts, and Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, is a prize-winning printmaking & mixed media artist who has exhibited in the U.S. and Great Britain. She has taught art in public and private schools, universities, and art centers in the USA, England, and Switzerland. Andrea has been a consultant in crafts marketing & merchandising in the USA, Canada, Namibia, Bangladesh, and Mali. She has also done product development and craft marketing in 22 countries in Africa, Southeast Asia, and Latin America.
Currently, her art combines multiple mediums in collaged abstracts on paper, canvas, and Mylar. In addition, she has worked with high shrinkage fibers to create wall sculptures & hangings of handmade paper and mixed media, as well as created anecdotal paper & clay torsos and games.
I want to create something tangible out of the hidden and non-verbal places within me. I try to capture the elusiveness of the moment – using imagery & materials from my African, South Asian, and Middle Eastern travels. I also want to educate others about ancient, exotic, & ethereal cultures through complex, abstracted, & textural imagery, using unusual combinations of handmade fibers, papers, canvas, and 3D materials.

Benjamin Xu. 1961’ Born in Shanghai, China. He is a disciple of the 3rd generation master artist Zhang Daqian. A director of the USA / Chinese Art Institute of Painting and Calligraphy. A director of the Chinese Art and Culture Association. Green Mood Painting Club founder. Mr.Xu has been dedicated to the combination of artistic creation and abstract landscape for a long time, painting originated from the appearance of nature and then towards form and spirit as the ultimate goal, using the pen to be imaginary and changing the space with the color to the picture, often showing natural dripping waves. The temperament of splash, impact, coldness, and lushness, accompanied by chaos and flying, creates another Zen image.
Over the past 20 years, everyone knows that the world has undergone historic changes, which our generation has experienced and witnessed, and which has also made me learn so much, much more than I have learned in my life. The so-called art comes from life. As an artist, I use my method to present this feeling with a modern and unique expression technique. It is also my feeling and reaction to this reality. I think it is based on the times. Works are the trajectory of an era, and they are worthy of us leaving a mark on this reality.
Blue Garden
My name is Barbara Page I live in Belle Plaine, Minnesota. Originally, I am from a dairy farm in northern Wisconsin. I started by drawing the markings on our cows, beginning my artistic journey. I attended the University of Wisconsin – River Falls. I have a bachelor’s degree in Fine Art. At 30 years old I was in an auto accident. The accident left me with traumatic brain and spinal injuries. I love to draw and paint realistic art with the mediums of watercolor, pen, and ink. My inspiration is the artwork of Alphonse Mucha; with my focus on nature, florals, and human figures. Because of my injuries, I visualize things differently. My injuries resulted in clouded thinking and hand tremors. Unsteady hands made it difficult to do fine details. Today my artwork is influenced by the traumas and blessings I endured.
As an artist, I love to see and create artwork that evokes emotion and different perceptions of what my piece says to the viewer. I love to paint with watercolors and use pen and ink pointillism in black and white to illustrate emotion and beauty.

Brigitte started taking photographs at a young age, inspired by her grandfather. In her twenties, she travelled the globe and discovered her passion for landscape and street photography, be it colour or BnW. Today, she is also experimenting with abstract approaches.
Her photography has been exhibited physically and virtually at galleries and fairs in the UK, the US, the EU, Switzerland, Canada, Brazil, Japan, the Philippines and more. It has been published in international art magazines and has received awards, among which are a first prize at HMVC Gallery, NY, a second place at DecagonGallery, NY, a bronze award at Pispa,2 nominations at reFocusAwards, a silver winner at the European Photography Awards, and a gold winner at the London Photography Awards.
Creating is a drive; photography is my path. My way to express my vision, my emotions, my thoughts, my ever-fleeting feelings. My favoured approaches are landscape, street, and abstract photography, be it colour or BnW. My aim is to represent Life as it is, in any form, anywhere in nature or in cities, as seen through my eyes. When going for a shoot, I am in an almost meditative state, which allows me to be calm and alert to any changes in light, in movement, or otherwise. My photography is spontaneous, candid, unpredictable, as Life can be.
When my eyes, my heart, and my soul are at one, aligned, I might come up with a story. A story ready to be shared with the viewer.
