Creating abstract art offers me a profound sense of freedom, liberating me from conventional constraints and allowing me to fully embrace my creativity. In my practice, I focus on conveying emotions of peace and tranquility, channeling these serene energies into each stroke and hue. My work is driven by the belief that art has the capacity to heal, to soothe, and to restore. Through abstraction, I explore the depth of human emotion and intuition, aiming to create spaces where viewers can connect to a sense of calm and restoration. This approach not only reflects my artistic vision but also underscores my message: art is a powerful conduit for healing and harmony.

Gayle Faulkner, with over 35 years of artistic exploration and creativity, stands as a seasoned watercolor, acrylic, and mural artist. Her journey has been marked by constant exploration, a playful engagement with diverse media, and an unwavering commitment to growth in the world of art.

Her academic journey, rooted in a BA in Sociology from William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri, initially led her to work with children, integrating art into their day-to-day experiences. Gayle’s passion for art eventually pulled her into a more immersive pursuit. She delved into Art and Design courses at Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, unlocking her artistic soul. The willingness to ”put herself out there”, coupled with years of hard work and a penchant for thinking outside the box, allowed her to undergo a major growth period.

Finally, the challenges posed by the COVID-19 quarantine became a catalyst for Gayle’s artistic metamorphosis, leading her to focus on acrylic paintings on canvas. Engaging in an online course.

In my art practice, I describe my creations as Textural Acrylics. This term represents the exciting experience of observing paint flow from the palette knife, forming captivating textures and colors. Each stroke channels emotion, and every canvas captures a moment of creative inspiration.

My process is spontaneous – I start with a loose outline, sketch the composition, and then fully immerse myself in the act of creating. Throughout the process, music is my closest companion, its volume soaring. I dance to the rhythm, losing myself in the beats, and, on occasion, even letting out a song. My painting process is a multisensory experience, an immersive journey into the fusion of sound and color, where each note becomes a brushstroke, and every stroke on the canvas is a dance of creation. I often liken my paintings to cherished children—it’s a relationship that involves nurturing, engaging in heartfelt conversations, and weathering the challenges of creative adolescence with boundless love and patience.

Shane is an 18-year military veteran that lives in southern California. He enjoys all types of visual arts and is also a publisher of several children’s books.

First submission and take on photography. This photo was taken in the mountains near Yosemite National Forest in California. It speaks to what summer really means and feels like when in the wilderness around sunset. The sun glinting between the trees mid-photo captured a moment I’d never been able to before.

Robert Meyers-Lussier is a multifaceted artist whose creative expression spans photography, writing, and gastronomy. His artistry reflects a deep appreciation for both the grand and the minute details of life, shaped by extensive travel and diverse experiences. As a published author of ‘Crystallized Remnants,’ a book of poetry, and ‘This Is Delicious! What Is It?’, a cookbook, Robert’s work transcends mediums to explore beauty in all its forms. His photography, a blend of macro and micro perspectives, captures moments that are both ephemeral and eternal, inviting viewers to see the world through his unique lens

My artistry is born of spontaneity, a voyage through the open-air tapestry of life that cuts a swath across the continuum of time and space as I navigate the course of my existence.

As an author, writer, and photographer, I hold both minute and monumental moments in high regard. Encased within the temporal sphere, I am drawn to the symphony of colors and patterns, the dance of joy and sorrow, and the ebb and flow of nature’s life cycle. The changing seasons hold a pivotal role in my work. My perceptual lens has been honed and polished by the crucible of Minnesota’s severe weather that marked my childhood, coupled with an early immersion in the sublime aesthetics of Japan. I am perpetually on a quest for that breathtaking snapshot, the one that seizes a moment or a place in time, compelling me to etch it indelibly into the canvas of our collective memory

Sun Dance

Born in Prague in 1975, she still lives there and works.

She started painting abstract art in 2019. Studying at the Spiritual Academy has helped her discover what her heart desires- to be a painter. An abstract painter who shows her inner world.

She often associates painting with words. Poetry is an important part of a painting, it gives it a meaningful message or reference. It is her way of communicating with the outside world. She is a human being, a creator who communicates a message through colors and words. She likes to explore everything in depth, working with inner feelings and looking for answers to questions. If she finds the inner peace she draws from nature, then she also hears the answers.

The image is the result of all sensations, so it remains forever. She wants to merge everything into one.

As an emotional painter, she works with the inner world that is reflected in each of us. Her painting is telling a story and conveys words that are giving a message. As an emotional creator playing with his thoughts, showing them proudly to the world, she combines visual and mental perception. The image is the total of all sensations, so it remains forever. She wants to merge everything into one. Forever.

Creating intuitively she most enjoys with a combination of acrylic paint, spatulas, and brushes, letting the music and thoughts come together on the canvas, where the unexpected becomes expected or surprising. Ideas after ideas assemble images like a puzzle. Sometimes the painting is accompanied by poetry or words that have found their own way, this is when the canvas speaks to her

She is a human being, a creator who communicates a message through colors and words. She likes to explore everything in depth, working with inner feelings and looking for answers to questions. The forest is her oasis, where she finds her inner peace. It is where her inspiration awakens, her connection with nature, it is where she finds answers to her questions. Music helps to tune the energies and then she transfers them to the canvas, to be in harmony with her surroundings, to be at peace and content. She usually lets herself be carried away by the music, choosing colors intuitively.

Try to stop for a moment and listen to the colors.
You see colors that speak to you and communicate more than what is on the surface.
Try to see things differently, try to question yourself.
What are your feelings and how do words and images affect you?
Maybe then you will see the world differently, a world that will make your thoughts dance.

“My interests lie in nature, wildlife, spirituality, and the human spirit. The most basic of creations in life are combined with technological media as a vessel to provide a divergent yet clean portrayal of themes I am drawn to.“

As a digital artist, I have always been interested in themes of spirituality, nature, and wildlife, as well as in the human condition and what makes people tick.

I am an avid advocate for the protection of wildlife, nature, and the environment.

I have worked in the area of computer graphics ever since the computer became a tool for creative pursuits.

I create my collage-inspired work using a combination of digital software integrated with my own drawings and photographs.

I prefer full vivid colors, and also create symbols in my art much like the Flemish artists did. My additional favorite art movements are Surrealism, Flemish Art, and Pop Art.

At 65, after decades of not creating art, Lisa Joy Newcomb reinvented herself as an artist.

Ms. Newcomb has been honored with one best of show, five first place awards in photography, a second place in abstract photography award, and a third place award. She has had three one-woman shows. One through HMVC Gallery New York, one through Artel Gallery in Pensacola, FL, and one through the University of Delaware. Her work has been seen from coast to coast, including several times through the HMVC Gallery in New York and the Las LaGuna Gallery in California. Pictorem, based out of Montreal, Canada, has Lisa as a featured artist. Ms. Newcomb’s work has been seen in public arenas including New York’s Times Square electronic billboards, Montgomery International Airport, the Regions Bank Corporate Gallery in Montgomery, Alabama, the Sanger Theater in Pensacola, Florida, and the Hilton Pensacola Beach, Florida. Three books have also presented by Ms. Newcomb. They are: “Nobis II, 2023,” and the “Emerald Coast Review,” 2023, and 2025. “Emerald Coast Review 2025” uses Ms. Newcomb’s photograph as its cover image.

The photographs she creates are abstractions in fluidity, rich in joy and filled with color, pattern, curiosity, and a gentle message. The dance of light that for most of her life she sought in the ocean, she is now looking for in the melding of glass and fabric with occasional surprise elements. Lisa’s work is usually printed on aluminum.

Ms. Newcomb’s highest degree is a master’s in social work. Professionally, she worked as a social worker and as a realtor. She was raised in the Mid Atlantic, experienced her young adulthood in New England and the Midwest, and for the last 30 years, the Deep South has been home with her husband. It was in the Deep South that she raised an interesting, dynamic, kind-hearted daughter. Lisa was a docent at the Pensacola Museum of Art and the Montgomery Museum of Art for over 17 years. She is currently a national member of Pen Women.

Ms. Newcomb’s uplifting work can be seen on her website at Pictorem. You may order it there to your specifications.

I create photos as peaceful, playful, healing stimuli while I make observations of humanity and the environment. Drawing upon different objects, I explore melding them into a unified whole. Part of my process is setting up compositions, in the form of an assemblage, visually weaving together beautiful glass, flowing fabric, with vibrant colors and patterns into integrated fluid formations seeking to reshape light, pattern, and color into a visual oasis. I then tightly crop and photograph. My intent is to transcend and transform objects into images that visually excite while calming the soul, often with a gentle message.

A lifelong passion for art and artists influenced my work. I nod to Miriam Schapiro, a leader in the Pattern and Decoration Movement. Having lived much of my life by the shore, I have always loved the play of light in watery reflections. I am drawn to artists who capture light; Stephen Rolfe Powell’s glass delights me. Mark Rothko believed in the visceral effect of color. He wanted people to have an experience within his pictures. I seek to have my work viscerally affect the viewer.

CromaLuxe high definition images printed on aluminum are my preferred substrate. The reflective surface enhances and enriches the dynamics of the glass used in my imagery. Images can be ordered in small jewel-like prints or large dynamic pieces.

Sun Me

As a multi-disciplinary North American-born artist based in Palm Beach, Florida, my journey into the world of art and expression began at a young age, inspired by my French Parisian mother. In addition to my lifelong artistic pursuits, I also achieved recognition as a youth chess champion by the age of 10. Despite being diagnosed with Marfan Syndrome in my pre-teens and undergoing numerous surgeries, I remained undeterred in pursuing my visual art passions & will never stop creating!

The fusion of naturalist and abstract art in my creative process reflects my unique approach to artistry. My ability to seamlessly blend these two disciplines and use them as a form of cerebral escapism is a testament to my creativity and artistic journey. It is evident that while creating is meditation and my own path to a state of creative energy that is both transcendent and fulfilling.

My concept of an art~zone nirvana where time seems to disappear is a testament to the deep connection I have with my work. It is an immersive and transformative experience that I share with my audience, inviting them to join me on this artistic voyage of discovery.

My art not only presents visual beauty but also carries a profound message of mindfulness, appreciation, and the importance of finding solace and inspiration in the world around us. It is the power of art to transcend time and offer a meditative space for both the observer and me.

As a RIKXECOM ultra-contemporary abstract art creator, I strive to create meaningful pieces of art that spark joy, imagination, and exploration. My artwork is a reflection of my spiritual journey, and I draw inspiration from the beauty of nature and the power of the human spirit. I strongly believe that the arts process feeds my escape, and I strive to create pieces that will speak to the hearts of my viewers.

As a multi-disciplinary North American-born artist based in Palm Beach, Florida, from a young age, I was inspired by my mother to explore the world of art and expression. My passion for art led me to open my own studio in 1982, where I was able to express myself through a variety of mediums.

By opting for non-toxic acrylic inks, I prioritize the use of materials that are safer for both me and the environment. This choice aligns with sustainability principles and reduces the environmental impact of art creation. The use of recyclable materials in the production of artwork frames is a sustainable choice. This ensures that the materials used in framing can be repurposed or recycled, contributing to a more circular and eco-friendly approach to art creation. The choice of user-friendly soft art canvas implies materials that are comfortable to work with while also being environmentally conscious. Materials that prioritize user-friendliness often enhance the artistic process while maintaining sustainability.

As the ultra-contemporary artist RIKXECOM, my artistic practice seamlessly integrates traditional and digital elements across diverse disciplines, crafting a distinctive and innovative body of work. The unique eye through which I view art is a synthesis of tradition and technology, resulting in a truly unparalleled artistic expression.
