Bryun is an eclectic, contemporary artist known for his paintings, murals, and photography. He is an intuitive artist who creates imagery invoked through emotion and is inspired by color, texture, and form, as well as influenced by the sociopolitical climate.
Bryun was born in 1971, in New Jersey. At the age of 13, his family moved to Southern California. In 1992, he graduated from CSU, Long Beach with a BFA, in Ceramics. Bryun is a cis, gay male feminist that is a vocal activist fighting for LGBTQ+, women, and POC rights and equality. He coined the term, registered trademarked, designed the font and image, and subsequent merchandise for “Femme Menace®” which donates proceeds from its sales to charities fighting for egalitarian equality.
Bryun has lived in Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Cleveland, and Chicago, and now resides back in his home State of New Jersey. Each location provided artistic growth and cultural immersion with local artists and patrons alike. His artwork is commissioned for both public and private display. He has a series of abstract paintings on permanent public display in the Pinnacle Building, Cleveland. He created and implemented a mural for the entrance into the Y.M.C.A. in Hamilton, New Jersey. He has multiple paintings on permanent public display at The Pratt Residences, Chicago. He is currently part of the artist community in Lambertville, NJ, and New Hope, PA. He showcases his artwork annually for the New Hope Celebrates Gala and has frequently been accepted into various online National and International juried gallery shows. Most notably The Tom of Finland Foundation’s “Emerging Artist” and Fusion Art’s “Animals” (Awarded Honorable Mention), and “Leaves and Petals” exhibitions.
Life is full of variety, and there are many artistic expressions with which I want to play, learn from, explore, and create. I am inspired by my environment, the people, cities, nature, and sociopolitical events that I am exposed to in my daily surroundings and in my travels. My artwork is a reflection of my multifaceted interests. I love the color, texture, layering, and movement of Abstract Expressionism. I love the whimsy, beauty, and sensual/eroticism of the representational form. I love the color, texture, and diverse complexities found in nature. I love the immediate gratification photography offers when capturing a feeling or a particular moment. I like to manipulate the photographic image and transform it into an image that resembles a painting, thus blurring the lines of both mediums.
Regardless of the medium I am working in, I strive to evoke an emotion, a memory, a thought, or a reaction from the viewer. I am a painter. I am a sculptor. I am a muralist. I am a photographer. I am all these things and am not defined by one or the other. I embrace the diversity in my artistry and reserve the right to express myself in any medium or technique my creativity dictates. I am an artist.
A Moment In Time
Andrea Snyder, BFA, cum laude Tyler School of Art, MFA program NYU with additional studies at Wharton, University of the Arts, and Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, is a prize-winning printmaking & mixed media artist who has exhibited in the U.S. and Great Britain. She has taught art in public and private schools, universities, and art centers in the USA, England, and Switzerland. Andrea has been a consultant in crafts marketing & merchandising in the USA, Canada, Namibia, Bangladesh, and Mali. She also has done product development and craft marketing in 22 countries in Africa, Southeast Asia, and Latin America.
Currently, her art combines multiple mediums in collaged abstracts on paper, canvas, and Mylar. In addition, she has worked in high shrinkage fibers to create wall sculptures & hangings of handmade paper and mixed media, as well as created anecdotal paper & clay torsos and games.
I want to create something tangible out of the hidden and non-verbal places within me. I try to capture the elusiveness of the moment -using marks, imagery, & materials from my African, South Asian, and Middle Eastern travels, textures from natural fibers, fabric, and found materials, in my mixed media art and sculptures. I like both vibrant & earthy colors, plus elements that elicit the power and potential of the human mind. I love the complexity of combining seemingly incongruous elements made by both man and nature. Recently I’ve been creating hangings and 3D art that comment on ancient cultures and their influence on our past and present.
A Moment In Time
Ray has always been fascinated by and worked with three-dimensional art. His first memory of creating art was sculpting, drawing, and painting in grade school classes. He was awed by the dioramas in the Milwaukee Public Museum, his favorite urban playground.
Along with creating free-standing and wall-mounted sculptures, much of Ray’s work over the next 30 years was comprised of oil and acrylic paintings with heavy impasto and strong 3D multimedia canvases.
He moved to mosaics for about 13 years: water fountains, sculptures, furniture, architectural pieces. He was fascinated with the depth of color, texture, form, and infinite materials that this tactile medium presents.
In 2013, Ray began creating 360° luminous sculptures, which are illusionary, abstract, one-of-a-kind interplays of color and light, most often in a column form. Along with creating these sculptures, Ray continues to paint.
To me, abstract expressionist art is a manifestation of imagination in its purest, most basic form. It emerges as the visual result of artistic intention. Creativity is a wave of energy, driving me to generate something from within. I use the unparalleled power of art to express feelings.
My art is essentially me. It presents coexistence as an abstraction. I invite my audience to examine perceived differences from various perspectives and then to recognize a sameness, a grounding. I encourage viewers to take the experience beyond observation and participate in the art.
My abstract paintings are composed with a focus on depth, texture, and composition. Exploring combinations of paint, sculpting medium, and glazes has forced me to view color, line, form, light, and movement with fresh eyes.
I feel that all art presents opportunities for self-discovery. Fill your eyes and open your mind. Experience fully the emotions that art evokes. Find yourself within the art and reveal your truth.

Arlette Stella is a late-blooming, self-taught artist, who took up painting in the Fall of 2019. In spite of her short history as an artist, she has been in several shows and exhibits, both in person and online. Her creative side is informed by her extensive education alongside her travel adventures and life experiences.
Arlette Stella is a late-blooming, self-taught artist. With no prior exposure or education in art or artists, Arlette Stella simply draws on her boundless imagination and the world around her to generate artwork with a message.
“For me, to paint is to breathe, to exist. I have a purpose. I am an artist!” declares Arlette, surprised and bemused. “As a young person, my art form was poetry. For decades that part of me was dormant. Suddenly and happily the artist in me has emerged and I must answer her call.”
Arlette’s deeply philosophical and innately abstract nature is evident in every piece that she creates. Her work is typically in acrylic on canvas or gesso board and sometimes she enjoys working with pastels.

A Mothers Love
Carina Imbrogno is a disabled self-taught award-winning inspirational artist who began her art at the age of 40. She is a walking miracle who has defeated death many times. She suffers from a genetic disorder called Ehlers Danlos Syndrome kyphoscoliosis type. Due to this disease only being discovered in 2015 Carina’s spine collapsed twice having to endure many life-saving surgeries. She has two rods and twenty-six screws holding my spine. She found her passion in art late in life and feels it’s never too late to do what you are meant to do. Carina enjoys the style of realism. She can work in many different mediums. Three years ago she discovered pastels and that became her medium of choice. She has created over 140 works of art since 2015. She enjoys depicting children because of her inability to ever have them. She also enjoys depicting people, pets, wildlife, landscapes, nature, still lives, and botanicals. She is inspired by the old masters. She has been accepted into more than 100 juried shows and I’ve won over 80 awards. Her art is a form of therapy and also a way to inspire others with her inspirational miraculous story.
My name is Carina Imbrogno and I’m a self-taught disabled artist. I enjoy realism in many mediums. My medium of choice for the past three years has been pastels. I enjoy drawing people, children, and animals, such as wildlife and pets. I also enjoy drawing nature and now recently landscapes.

My life is about images.
I’ve worked as a commercial artist for a really long time. I was born When Dinosaurs Ruled the Earth, and my childhood was punctuated by assassinations. My teenage years were filled with rage and protest; it is very strange to be living with this again.
I’ve worked as an award-winning freelance illustrator for over 40 years, with clients across the world. I’ve exhibited my artwork in several local and national shows; and one-man exhibitions, and I have two illustrations in the permanent collection of the Museum of Biblical Art in Dallas, Texas. A lot of my work has been architectural; some has been for children’s books; and the rest comprise a large portfolio of images.
My life is about images. Especially in this difficult time, social media demonstrates the value of visual images.
I started creating images Back When Dinosaurs Ruled the Earth. I’ve been self-employed since 1998; a lot of my work has been architectural; some has been for children’s book illustration; and the rest comprise a large portfolio of images.
When I ventured out on this Illustrator gig, I wanted to illustrate Adventure Stories. I studied the great illustrators of the 19th and 20th Centuries and the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood. I wanted to use realism to illustrate adventure stories. The sort of books one could find in libraries, Back When Dinosaurs Ruled the Earth. I spent about 10 years, honing my skills, and learning to illustrate digitally. Sadly, the Children’s Illustration market left me behind. There are few illustration opportunities today for Adventure illustrations for children, using adult characters. There was a time when Children’s Books were just about the same as books for adults, but with illustrations and less gore.
I have an improbable goal of bringing them back.
A Nutter World
Tricia Faulkner is a self-taught artist who began at around age 5. Perhaps her greatest childhood influence was living in New Orleans where she first experienced many art cultures. When not moving about from city to city with her family, her time was spent on a farm in North Alabama. Tricia sketched from books for entertainment, relaxation, and as her greatest coping mechanism. However, she never truly believed in her abilities. As the years passed Tricia earned a Doctorate Degree in Pharmacy while raising two children. In April 2020, Tricia left everything behind and took an online painting course in Bold Color Art.
Her heart drove her to a passion for portraying strong emotions in faces. In her first 18 months of painting, she finished over 60 commissions. Although grateful for the work, her soul felt suffocated from the lack of her own inner voice and put commissions on hold. She then began painting from photographs she had taken over the years from serving as a missionary pharmacist in Central America. She also had a strong Spiritual upbringing and began portraying the visions of Angels she often had in her dreams (works that are still in development). The feeling of good versus evil plays a big role in her concept artworks; an art form she sketched out during some of her most passionate struggles.
Tricia has been advertised in Vanity Fair Magazine UK Editions for Artist to Watch, Interviewed on Bold Art Podcast December 2021, Featured in Nashville (TN) Voyager Magazine in the Inspiring Stories Segment, won Best In Show, and 1st place in a Regional Juried Exhibit, 3 National Juried Exhibitions, 3 International Juried Exhibitions, and awarded the Certificate of Artistic Achievement by the Pinacothe’que Museum in Luxembourg for the Angel portrayal “Breaker of Chains”
I sketch and paint with pens, pencils, markers, and high-quality heavy-body acrylic paints. One of my first and most passionate forms of art is the human struggle and/or joy in facial expressions. I am a huge empath and 10 years before I ever picked up a paintbrush I bought a professional camera and just photographed faces when I could. My soul always nudged me to get ready to paint!
When I am not photographing my subjects I am dreaming! I recall some of my most vivid dreams and many are nightmarish. I believe the Spirit that binds us all moves through us if we are open to receiving the messages. Many of those messages come to me in my dream state. With the binding spirit comes nature! I love the evolution I have come from; human faces to animals and wildlife in nature. My hope is to continue into the lane of concept art and fantasy that will combine both.
In my bold color art style, I use many textures, and heavy body acrylics layered in a dry brush technique and may include gel matte, spray paints, pastes, inks, or pens to give more dimension and emotional pull.
A Painters Dream
The beauty of nature surrounding Los Angeles was the impetus for her entrance into the field of photography. Joanne began vigorously studying photography and other art arenas to hone her skills as a visual artist. In 2000, she graduated from California State University, Los Angeles with a Master of Fine Arts (MFA). She is now a full-time artist.
In addition to color and black and white film, Joanne shoots digitally, employs the techniques of infrared imaging, and enjoys creating 3D anaglyphs to be viewed with red/blue lenses. As an extension of photography, she has branched out to do videos and has a YouTube Channel, THE VIDEO ART OF JOANNE CHASE-MATTILLO. Along with nature, Joanne frequently photographs female and male subjects in fun-themed studio shoots.
Joanne has exhibited throughout California, nationally, in Korea, France, England, Switzerland, Scotland, Greece, Spain, Germany, Japan, Belgium, Holland, Brazil, Dubai, and Italy. Her work has also been selected for Lunar Codex, a very special project partnered with SpaceX to deliver the images of art in a time capsule to be permanently affixed to the surface of the moon, selected by Era Contemporary Gallery, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, as part of “Legends Of The Moon”.
As a photographer, I am constantly in search of iconic imagery. The craftsmanship and perfection of classic Hollywood cinema have always been an inspiration and a goal I seek to achieve in my photography. While enjoying the technology of the present and how it has enhanced photography, I am very drawn to recreate photographs that reference the best of the past. It is my intent that the viewer of the images I create will be taken out of the everyday present to a magical place where at any time they would dream of going. Whether photographing people or nature, I strive to honor the best and beauty of all that I have an opportunity to capture with my camera.
Summer days are the dream moments of the year that are looked forward to in dreary seasons. The beach, pool, lakes, and oceans draw all to embrace the sun and beat the heat. When we think of summer, we embrace all that the warmth of the sun brings.
