Fresh Air
Rachael is a self-taught stippling and impressionistic painter. A small-town “mountain girl” at heart, after living in the mid-west and the San Francisco Bay Area, she proudly makes her home in the foothills of Colorado. Rachael combines her love for this beautiful world, the outdoors, and organic textures with her vibrant use of color and meticulous mark-making with “dots” to create her artworks.
Rachael had many inspirations for art and creativity in her family and life. She earned a B.S. in Business from the University of Colorado and a Master of Science in Information Systems from the University of San Francisco. After fifteen years in the corporate and higher education sectors as an HR and Information Systems Specialist, Rachael began to focus on her passion for creating impressionistic, detailed, month-spanning artworks in themes of nature, texture, and the bold use of color. Rachael’s artwork has been shown in several exhibitions in the Rocky Mountain Foothills.
I have always been an avid creator. Whether it was the hand-sewn turtle made from fabric scraps and buttons as a child or reveling in communicating data and information through infographics in the corporate world. My artwork allows me to channel and celebrate my neurodiversity. My signature mark-making style allows me to break down pieces into manageable elements and take advantage of hyper-focus periods while still allowing my mind plenty of freedom. Each piece, and even each segment of each piece is a challenging puzzle to my brain. A way to problem solve is by getting what’s in my head visually and emotionally onto a surface as well as finding and maintaining balance through every square inch. A very strong theme in my collections is seeing the beauty beyond the norm. I revel in delighting viewers, from that initial spark of interest to the journey through the intricacies of the (oh so many) dots.

Barbara Keim has used the computer as an art tool dating back to the early 1980s.
She originally received traditional fine arts training and became involved in graphic design/illustration freelance endeavors early on. She had incidentally been introduced to a high-end paint system while in NYC at a marketing demonstration and was completely enamored with computer graphics artistic potential of the software, and digital photography. This has since become her choice of artistic medium.
Her digital work has been published in publications internationally, inclusive of Prix Ars Electronica, book on artists, Linz, Austria, Delta Informatics corporation – Calendars, Athens, Greece, Encyclopedia of Living Artists, NY, NY. The best computer art in the World, Slide archive, Bloomsburg, PA, USA, and in Computer Graphics World Magazine, L.A. California.
She has exhibited her work in Austria, Canada, England, Greece, and all across the U.S. She continues to teach, consult, and create computer graphics in Massachusetts.

As a digital artist, I have always been interested in themes of spirituality, nature, and wildlife, as well as in the human condition and what makes people tick.
I am an avid advocate for the protection of wildlife, nature, and the environment.
I have worked in the area of computer graphics ever since the computer became a tool for creative pursuits.
I create my collage-inspired work using a combination of digital software integrated with my own drawings and photographs.
I prefer full vivid colors, and also create symbols in my art much like the Flemish artists did. My additional favorite art movements are Surrealism, Flemish Art, and Pop Art.
Frida With Flowers In Summer
Susa Höhle works as an artist, architect, object designer, and art therapist and maintains a studio in Germany. She takes part in group exhibitions in Germany and has permanent exhibitions at restaurants in Cologne and Aix-la-Chapelle. She has award-winning works in “Figurative Art”, participates in several online galleries and her paintings are sold all over the world. In July 2023 publishing company Heye will release a Frida Kahlo calendar with international artists and two of Susa’s works.
For several years I create innovative portraits originally inspired by the colorful character of Mexican painter Frida Kahlo. The artist turned herself into a work of art with her striking appearance and interesting personality, and the main motif of her paintings was herself, the “Queen of selfies”. She expressed her inner landscape of the soul uncompromisingly. These works show the optimistic, cheerful aspect and carry the spirit of summer and sun.
I use the person as a guide to create images of strong, expressive women. My portraits are about depicting a tense personality with strong expression and character. This is how I create imaginative and sometimes bizarre portraits with common identifying features – mysterious, modern, and wonderful.
In a synthesis of realism and abstraction, just as people are in their expression – strong and sensitive at the same time.

GM Owen is from the middle Tennessee area; he is a self-taught painter with no formal training other than art classes in middle school. He started painting around the age of twelve years old, placing art in the annual juried art competition at the State Fair Art Show, and later joining a local art guild in his late teens. After high school, he was hired as a staff sign artist for the Coca-Cola Bottling company in Nashville, Tennessee, and later worked as a sign artist for trade show/expo companies working in the southeastern states. By the mid-eighties, the art of free-hand lettering was replaced by computers and wide-format printing. He re-entered tech school to study desktop publishing and he has worked the last 30 years as a graphic designer in the wine & spirits industry. He has always painted and placed art in venues, restaurants, and juried art shows along the way. His style of art ranges from portraits to still life fruit. He uses non-traditional oil paint which is an oil-based enamel and reflects back to paint he used as a sign artist painting billboards and walls for Coca-Cola company when he was younger.

Midwest native, Jennifer Hannigan-Green is a figurative abstract painter. Originally, a landscape painter illustrating her walk through nature, Jennifer’s style has changed over the years becoming more simplified and expressive, illustrating her walk through life. Her work shares deep, personal moments. She captures emotional stories through her use of color and shapes. Jennifer has had her paintings shown throughout the world from Paris, France to St. Louis, Missouri, and has received an American Art Award two years in a row.
Painting is how I process and communicate with the world. My work is my voice for the feelings and emotions we struggle to speak and find words for. The intense emotions of motherhood – love, sleepless nights, connection. The intense emotions of depression and loneliness. The intense emotions of simply living – finding joy, spirituality, and friendship. When words fail us, colors and shapes become our voices. That voice is my work. My work is our voice.

Kylo-Patrick Hart is an award-winning photographer (Budapest International Foto Awards, European Photography Awards, Global Photography Awards, Golden Shot International Photography Awards, London Photography Awards, New York Photography Awards, Pollux Awards, Tokyo International Foto Awards, etc.) and chair of the Department of Film, Television and Digital Media at Texas Christian University (Fort Worth, Texas, USA). He received his formal training in digital media arts while a student at the University of Michigan and Wayne State University, with additional instruction provided by offerings of the Maine Media Workshops and Santa Fe Workshops. As an artist, his motivation is to discover and capture the beauty, even when it is not always readily self-evident, that surrounds us continuously in all areas of our everyday lives. His photographs have been exhibited in numerous cities throughout the United States and several countries on four continents.

I believe the finest images are those that are serious yet playful, aesthetically appealing yet a bit quirky. As both an artist and an admirer, my favorite photographs tend to be ones whose contents speak loudly for themselves — even when it is not immediately clear exactly what they are saying. They seek to inspire their viewers to wrestle with their intriguing content and, as a result, ponder various aspects of our surrounding world in new and unique ways.

Carrie Culp is a Seattle, Chicago, and Massachusetts-based fine art photographer with almost forty years of experience behind the lens, working in both film and digital formats. Her journey began after college with an AA degree in film photography (Burlington County Community College).
Carrie went on to receive a master’s degree in landscape architecture (University of Pennsylvania), a background that continues to shape the way she sees and composes her images. Additionally, her training as an FGASA Level 1 Safari Guide in South Africa (Eco-Training) has enriched her ability to anticipate and capture the intricate behaviors of wildlife—allowing her to be prepared for the decisive moment she envisions. These two aspects of her education and practice have enhanced her interest in capturing the intersection of the built and natural worlds in photographs. Her work has been shown in exhibitions across the country and in the UK.
Photography is, for me, a deeply personal journey—a way of capturing fleeting moments that define our lives and reveal the beauty within everyday experiences. I bring my camera everywhere, prepared for unexpected moments that can appear anywhere, anytime. I often describe photography as “a good walk improved,” since the act of observation and movement fuels my creativity and connection with the world.
My creative process is guided by curiosity and discovery. I am continually inspired by the power of light to sculpt scenes, expose hidden dimensions, and breathe life into stillness. The rhythm of shapes and textures in familiar settings or subjects invites me to look closer and appreciate subtle details that often go unnoticed. Every photograph is an exploration—a visual poem that holds a moment in time.
Through my lens, I seek to highlight both the ordinary and the extraordinary, unveiling beauty in the mundane as well as awe in the sublime. Whether witnessing landscapes, the energy of urban life, or the authenticity of human emotion, my photographs evoke reflection, wonder, and a deeper appreciation of our shared world. These images remind us that life’s richness is found in nuances—a shadow’s curve, a fleeting glance, a small detail.
Photography is more than documentation; it is storytelling and connection. Each image invites viewers to pause, immerse themselves, and find personal meaning within the frame, bridging moments, memories, and emotions across boundaries.

Elle Stell has stormed into the art world like a lightning bolt. Her vibrant use of colors and beautiful compositions have wowed art lovers everywhere. With her own unique style, she has won awards in juried art shows at galleries in her hometown of San Diego, California. She has also had commissioned pieces made for various clients, which are proudly displayed in their beautiful homes in La Jolla and Rancho Santa Fe. Some of Elle Stell’s paintings have even made it all the way to Europe. It is hard to believe that she is a self-taught artist and has only been painting full-time for the last few years. I am a self-taught artist from San Diego, California. I love to use a lot of color to express my emotions. Some of the various mediums that I use are Acrylics, Epoxy Resin, Spray Paint, Micas, and things from nature- such as Glass, Sand, Stones, Flowers, and Plants. I have only become a full-time artist in the last couple of years, but I have been creative for much of my life.

Born and raised with music and art around me, at the age of 22 I forwent the arts and pursued an entirely different path. After a decade down this road, I needed to escape. Believing I had found sanctuary, I proceeded with reckless abandon on a dangerous path. Fortunately, the art followed. And just like hope’s choice to remain in Pandora’s box, art did not abandon me. From a distraction to a passion, art endured. My chosen profession offered little practical guidance, but it is where I found inspiration. A handful of paintings soon become dozens which now have become hundreds. And I finally have the opportunity to refine and share.
