Anna Livna is an expressionist artist, born and raised in Russia. Anna has a design education and worked as a designer. In 2018, Anna moved to the USA, to build a career in the arts. She primarily works with oil painting. Anna’s art can be characterized as a reflection of human experience through self-knowledge. Anna currently works as a full-time artist from her home studio in Irvine, CA. Her unique artworks can be found in private collections in different countries, including the USA, Europe, China, and Russia.
“Know yourself, and you will know the gods and the universe,” says the statement on the ancient Apollo temple wall in Delphi, Greece. Self-knowledge is the core of my art concept. I reinterpret my experience as a woman, as an artist, and as a migrant in the context of Campbell’s “Hero’s Journey”. These are the spirals of my path: I go to the frontier, to the unknown when I feel the need for change, go through challenges, and come out of them renewed. Through self-knowledge, I rethink human traumas and talk about my overcoming experience. Color and contrast are dominant elements in my art. Through color, I convey my feelings and emotions. Symbolism is the code of my art, paintings are metaphors, and the viewer will always see something of their own in them.
Diptych “Overcoming” (Part 1)
Multidisciplinary artist Asia Aveli was born in 1980 in Kyrgyzstan. Her childhood was literally spent within the walls of the opera and ballet theatre where her parents worked. Later Asia herself would devote 15 years of her life to ballet.
Her post-graduate education was in the field of applied art. Creating something new with one’s own hands is not only an irresistible desire but rather an urgent need that haunts an artist all their life.
Asia began her adult life journey as an emigrant at the age of 23. After living in China until the age of 34, she moved to Russia, the country of her ancestors’ origin, and again found herself to be an immigrant with the same feeling of being out of place.
When it comes to the use of materials and techniques, I enjoy not limiting myself. However, I do tend to use fiber art techniques in paintings or integrated into objects. The material often researched for my work is that of “natural destruction”. Changes in material are caused by nature, time, and even biological organisms. I like to combine forms and materials that contrast and contradict each other, uniting them in one piece. This, to me, serves as a metaphor for the contrast between culture and context.
The main idea of my projects is rooted in the problem of cultural identity and the continuity of traditions and customs. I’m curious about how primary social conditions such as place of birth and nationality determine our future. Can one adopt a foreign environment and culture as their own and where do the boundaries lie for what is one’s own? Do the boundaries exist at all?
I was born and raised in Kyrgyzstan amongst people, a culture and nationality that I didn’t belong to. I moved to China at the age of 23 where, for 12 long years, I continued to live amongst
a culture that wasn’t my own. Now, again, I’m an immigrant, though this time in my historical homeland, Russia.
This is why I often use fiber art techniques. Felt is a cultural heritage of Kyrgyzstan, it played a huge role in supporting the Kyrgyz people since the nomad times. Through this concept of
moving and expanding borders, I find a sense of continuity for myself. Being immersed in different cultures provided me with a system of contrasting material and an abundance of
techniques I use in my work.

Ego
Anna Yakusheva was born in 1991 in a small village Svetloye, Zaporozhye region, Ukraine. Since 2007 she started to study academic drawing and classical painting at art school.
In 2013, she graduated from Zaporizhzhya National Technical University and received a diploma in interior design.
From 2012 to 2016 she worked in Kiev at SempreArte design studio. Her projects participated in international interior design competitions and were published in well-known magazines. She also painted paintings individually for the interiors of her projects.
In 2016, Anna moved to England. Finding herself in a new country and becoming a mum, she started to explore herself. She developed an interest in the topic of emotional intelligence, psychology, esotericism, and various spiritual practices. She also began to expand her art practice and learn watercolor techniques and book illustration. In parallel, Anna gave individual drawing lessons and created a series of illustrations for children’s educational material and for a personal collection of children’s books.
A major breakthrough in her creative activity occurred after studying at the Online Art Communication School by Julia Sysalova in 2023: in parallel with perfecting her skills, Anna began to actively pursue the development of her career as a global artist.
She is currently working on her solo autobiographical exhibition “The Path to Inner Freedom”.
Her works are in private collections in Great Britain, Germany, Italy, America, Canada, Russia and Ukraine.
I am an artist explorer, an alchemist, a practical philosopher of the new age, working in the style of metamodernism and being an archivist of my time. I walk the “Hero’s Path” in search of my own path to inner freedom.
My mission as an artist is to create for all seekers a “place of power” where they can warm their souls, recharge their energy when they need it most, and give confidence to those who seek it. In my works, which are based on reconnecting with information from above and on my personal lived experience, I show the way as a guide to all those who, like me, are searching for their way to inner freedom and their wholeness.
Immersing myself in my work as a kind of meditative process, I get in direct contact with my Higher Self, with my soul, and even with the source of the Creator of our Universe and transfer the images I see onto paper.
For my visual language, I use an incredibly versatile watercolor illustration, light, and fluid, like life itself. By supplementing the work with words and magazine clippings, I aim to convey certain messages and coded “cues” to the viewer for their inner transformation. In this way, I create my own unique authorial style.
I strive to evoke the viewer’s inner, perhaps hidden emotions, to awaken their consciousness to dialogue with themselves, and to show that each of us is unique and is the Great Creator not only of our own lives but of this World as a whole. My works open your eyes, awaken something very important and forgotten inside, and change your life.
I show how multifaceted, easy, and free our reality can be if we learn to trust life and hear the voice of our soul.

Girl In The Desert
Art photographer Evgeny Maklakov`s work is based on the idea that Impulse is the source of life and creativity. He is in search of a miracle in the ordinary and for more than 2 years he has been striving to capture and record this Miracle with the help of his camera.
An avid traveler by calling and an architect by profession, he began his journey as a photographer in 2022 with the discovery of the Canary Islands, where he felt the true energy and learned the way how deep light transforms people arriving in the archipelago.
He studied photography in the workshop of the famous Russian photographer Igor Brekhov, with whom he continues to collaborate, and they became friends.
He participated in an expedition to humpback whales on the Tonga Islands as part of the Charyse photography team Schark, Natalie Karpushenko, Rob Owen, and Chloe Cryan.
For more than 2 years he has been participating in different photo and art competitions, publications of his work are presented in the media and social networks, he creates designer art spaces and participates in social business projects.
His works are in private collections in Russia, the USA, Germany, and Greece.
My and the world of my creativity are about returning to my true and original self; It is about “Natural” settings, and dialogue with taboos inside me, without bothering the viewer.
I am not Bruce Nauman: I discover mystical truths and serve only Myself and Her, the true one with whom I create! If you don’t see her, don’t worry, she doesn’t see you either.
How do I do this? At the moment of Impulse and emotional upsurge, the energy of HER intensifies and connects with the Energy of nature. Women and nature are one whole, and integrity is freedom, and life in the moment (Carpe diem).
With my art, I free a person, I remember the path to my own freedom and I catch it with my camera so that I can recall it whenever I want. After all, She – the true One… caresses my gaze at this Miracle. I want to catch this Miracle, connect the girl with nature, and connect myself with them, at least for a moment, until Her portal is open… In my memories and tape recordings, Energy, nature, and humans come together.
I create ANTI-staged photos in an unexpectedly ordinary location, where the sun, snow, urban environment, rivers, and ocean are subordinate to Impulse, without deliberate decorations, but only contrast and unity.

Irina Filova was born in Russia in 1970.
Her talent and love for embroidery was inherited from her grandmother. For many years art and creativity accompanied her. For a long time, aesthetics and beauty nurtured in her a subtle perception of beauty.
The embroidery artist is at the beginning of her creative path and career, she works with natural materials: and threads, using modern embroidery techniques.
I and all people are connected to each other by a visible or invisible connection, a generic close or fleeting love thread. Tape. cord, rope, twisted fabric, umbilical cord, rope, or thin thread are all connections.
The red color gives them powerful strength. The red thread represents a thin thread intertwined in the lives of each of us, symbolizing continuity in time and space. It reflects fate, blood connection, and family line, becoming for some a symbol of meeting, destiny, and luck, and for others – a symbol of tradition, strength, and passed-on talent.
Emigrants bring with them their culture, traditions, and national clothes, and it is not always clear whether all this will take root in the new country.
Hidden Symmetry
Maya Shi is a Russian-born and Singapore–based Artist-Photographer. She was brought up in Moscow. She used to visit the Bolshoi Theatre and its creative atmosphere not only made her become deeply passionate about ballet but also gave her first perceptions of the body lines
and beauty.
Her education as a fashion photographer at the Moscow Academy of Photography and the New York Institute of Photography provided Maya with the tools to create her visual language.
Having traveled all over the world and worked on TV, Fashion Weeks, etc in different countries, as a result, in 2018 she won an Award for “Top 100 World Fashion and
Glamour photographer” presented by 35AWARDS (International Photography Awards), and other rewards.
Now Maya explores her path as an Artist-Photographer, being deeply interested in metamodernist ways of expressing her ideas about human nature.
I believe that our self-liberation begins when we are honest with ourselves. We live inside a dream. The life you see around is just a reflection in your eyes, interpreted by your mind. This is what my art is about.
I am the eye, helping you see the world the way only I see it. I create Magic Realism, immersing you in the state between the past, future, and present, between dream and reality. It is subtle, fragile, elusive, vanishing, and irrational.
My camera is a medium for a visual dialogue. Certain elements are consistently present throughout my practice: translucency, layering, attention to light, and the use of blur versus sharp.
My photographic approach is based on a constant light technique, that understands light as a living medium. Negative space and air in an image invite you to introspection.
I am an explorer. The paradoxical encounter between sublime and disturbing showcases the richness of existence through human states, be they mental, emotional, or physical. Exploring the boundaries between divine and infernal I seek the fine line between light and darkness. Somewhere beyond it, I believe, there is complete freedom.
Having challenged our hidden or unknown parts, having faced them head-on, and having accepted them, we drive through the labyrinth of dreams, to our true selves.
I Am Hot
Gali (Galina) is a Ukrainian-born, New York Based self-taught artist/painter. While being in the medical field all her adult life Gali always found time to create various artworks.
Throughout the years Gali attended master classes, self-educated, and experimented with various artistic mediums and styles, and her artworks found homes in private collections in the USA.
Since 2023 painting has become an integral part of Gali’s life. Her work focuses on themes of enlightenment, spiritual growth, and divine connection with life partners, the universe, the creator, and oneself.
Gali’s latest works are manifestation mirrors, where the observer becomes an immersive component of the artwork itself. She believes that with each reflection, the viewer’s connection to art is deepened. The reflection in the mirror accelerates the manifestation process through intention and reflective visualization.
Gali believes that authentic connection is a fundamental human journey, fostering environments where souls can grow and radiate light and love. Some of her artworks have reportedly sparked transformative experiences for those who acquire them. Her paintings, known for their spiritual magnetism, attract those on the path to enlightenment. Gali’s artistic voice resonates with themes of spiritual growth, love, unity, and the profound impact of enlightenment on human connections.
Today Gali continues to improve her skills as an artist. Gali has participated in several group exhibitions in the USA and Europe.
As an artist and as a human being, I often contemplate the concept of duality, in many different forms as it presents itself in life. My artworks depict overcoming the challenges of that parting.
Our essence, both as individuals and as part of a collective spirit, originates from and converges into a state of oneness. The path to this unity lies through enlightenment. We must acknowledge our oneness with the universe, even as we experience distinct separations in the physical realm. Much like a drop that momentarily separates from an ocean wave and ultimately reunites with the vast ocean, it never ceases to be part of the ocean and remains forever interconnected.
In our earthly existence, the illusion of separation often leads us to perceive the divine as external to us. However, my spiritual journey has shown me the profound opposite: we are all spiritual beings having a human experience. Encapsulated within the limitations of the human form, our divine essence, a part of our creator, navigates through physical experiences, both pleasurable and painful, as avenues for learning and teaching.
The transformative path I have taken in my spiritual evolution is visible in my artwork. Intuitively, my art illustrates the fusion of life’s elements into a harmonious unity, reflecting the interconnectedness of existence. Drawing inspiration from the fabric of our lives, my pieces blend surrealistic elements and abstract symbolism to offer the viewer an impactful, and ultimately, a meaningful experience.
My latest works on mirrors infuse functionality into art. The observer becomes an immersive component of the artwork itself, altering the appearance of each piece with each reflection. I call these artworks “Manifestation Mirrors”. Each mirror comes to life as if each piece was custom-created for the observer. With each reflection, the viewer’s connection to the art is deepened. Their own aspirations accelerate the manifestation process through intention and reflective visualization.
The “Manifestation Mirrors” serve as a tool to empower individuals to actively shape their realities. Adorning living spaces, they enhance earthly beauty while reinforcing intentions with every glance, propelling the viewer closer to the realization of their dreams.
