Artist Bio
I am Asya Miller, an independent mixed-media artist based in Nahariya, Israel. Since 2023, I have explored the possibilities of epoxy resin beyond conventional decorative objects, combining it with wood, charcoal, stone, lace, and light. My practice moves between sculptural wall pieces and functional artworks, including mirrors, clocks, and tables.
Rather than relying on a single signature material, I am drawn to unexpected combinations and the tension between opposites: raw and refined, fragile and resilient, natural and industrial. Some of my pieces begin with a detailed plan; others evolve through hands-on experimentation.
My aim is to create individual works that challenge familiar ideas about everyday objects and give interior spaces a distinctive identity. I continue to develop my practice through independent projects and specialized training in resin techniques.
