Artist Bio
Through her time in the beauty world, Smith was able to refine her aesthetic sensibilities and establish her theory of color. During a career that spanned over thirty years, she worked on developing brands, products, and color stories for companies such as Estée Lauder and L’Oreal. She served as the Executive Director of Makeup Marketing for Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, working closely with the founder of the brand.
Smith is quickly developing her reputation as an emerging artist to watch. Her work has made its way into more than one hundred private homes across the United States and abroad. Her paintings have been exhibited in a multitude of gallery shows and can be found at Red Fox Gallery in Pound Ridge, NY, William Pitt Sotheby’s in Ridgefield, CT, and Make Modern Studios in Darien and Greenwich, CT, among others.
